# A woman won’t be allowed on FlySafair flights again after fighting with attendants
# Destructive winds and heavy downpours are expected in the northern parts of South Africa today

# A female passenger who caused chaos on a recent flight from Durban to Cape Town, won’t be allowed to fly with FlySafair again. Videos on social media shows the alleged intoxicated woman fighting with flight attendants and demanding to be served another drink. She also told the crew they didn’t know who her father was. Other passengers helped to restrain the woman and she was handed over to police when the flight landed in Cape Town. The airline says she will be placed on their no-fly list.
# The Weather Service has issued a yellow level four warning for severe thunderstorms in the northern parts of the country today. Destructive winds and heavy downpours can be expected across Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West, the Free State and parts of KwaZulu-Natal. The forecaster says the rain can lead to flooding of roads and low-lying areas. People are warned not to cross flooded roads and low-lying bridges.
# The ANC Women’s League is calling on all sectors of society, including inter-governmental departments, the progressive student movement, teachers’ association and the private sector, to take urgent and collective action to address the epidemic of teenage pregnancy. Spokesperson Boitumelo Moiloa says South Africans need to work together to cultivate an environment where teenage girls are empowered to make choices that enhance their dignity, health, and future prospects:
# Cricket: South Africa needs just another 121 runs to win the first Test against Pakistan in Centurion. The visitors were bowled out for 237 in their second innings on the third afternoon after Marco Jansen took six wickets, with Saud Shakeel top-scoring with 84. In South Africa’s run-chase of 148, Pakistan struck back, taking the wickets of Tony de Zorzi, Ryan Rickelton and Tristan Stubbs before stumps. Captain Temba Bavuma and Aiden Markram will resume South Africa’s second innings on 27 for three today.
# And, the City of Cape Town’s Identikidz programme saw 25-thousand-770 children tagged over the past two public holidays, with 169 lost children reunited with their loved ones.
