CEO Cas Coovadia says achieving this necessitates a rethink of the macroeconomic growth policy and strategy, along with a more concerted focus on strengthening the capacity of the state to implement an economic growth policy. He adds that the government must continue with an emphasis on economic recovery and review institutional mandates that hamper growth and employment.

Fatal truck accidents are common in Nigeria due to the absence of an efficient railway system to transport cargo. In 2020 alone, there were one-thousand-531 petrol tanker crashes resulting in 535 fatalities and one-thousand-142 injuries.
