And finally, it is reported convicted child killer Lauren Dickason will be sentenced in February.

Writes the secretary general of the ANC, Fikile Mbalula says the directors and CEOs of the banks who manipulated the rand should be prosecuted in their individual capacity for the damage they have caused to the country’s economy. He says it is nothing less than a crime against the country’s people.

Reports a director of Ezulweni Investments, Ashnee Ramdas says they have already spent about a million rand on legal costs to recover debts of almost 102-million-rand from the ANC. Fikile Mbalula says however Ezulweni never supplied posters to the ANC.

Reports problems with the management of drinking water in the country are highlighted by two recent reports. In practice half of drinking water is lost before it reaches the consumer and about 46-percent is not microbiologically safe.
And secondly, the paper writes a memorial stone for the 23-year-old murdered Charl Hertzog was erected on the family farm in Hoopstad. He was shot dead earlier this year in Illinois in the US.

Firstly, reports on the months-long luxury stay for a police district commissioner on the West Coast. Major-General Sizakhele Dyantyi has been living in the four-star Saldanha Bay Hotel for about 17 months. The cost already amounts to more than a million rand.
Then the paper writes passengers who book flights over the festive period will have to keep a strict watch on their hand luggage’s content and weight. Strict control measures are being introduced.
And finally, there is news about a shop owner from Cape Town who was arrested for possessing an elephant’s leg, fox and otter skins, and the bark of endangered tree species.

Reports the mayor of Nelson Mandela Bay, Gary van Niekerk now wants the decision to dissolve the board of the Mandela Bay Development Agency reversed. He also wants the appointment of the agency’s CEO, Anele Qaba to be reconsidered.
And secondly, the paper writes ten public schools in the Nelson Mandela Bay education district were raided by armed robbers in the past week and in two cases the principals were shot.
