# The Western Cape High Court will this week hear the Green Connection and Natural Justice’s challenge over the environmental authorisation given to TotalEnergies for exploration off the coast from Cape Town to Cape Agulhas. The production seeks to confront various climate change issues such as drought, floods, waste, and plastic pollution. The director of the production, Tamar Meskin, told the SABC these subjects will be explored through a multi-genre mix of dance, music, poetry, and image projection:

However, it is estimated that the largest installations in the European Union still account for around 40-percent of greenhouse gas emissions, and are responsible for 20-percent of all air and water pollutants. The EU aims to reach carbon neutrality and zero pollution by 2050. The agency says the EU has completed or advanced the implementation of the 33 actions in the zero pollution action plan.
