# The Western Cape’s six major dams are still at over 90-percent of their capacity despite a slight drop. # American officials say a Chinese state-sponsored hacker broke into the US Treasury Department’s systems earlier this month and was able to access employee workstations and some unclassified documents. The Treasury had been working with the FBI and other agencies to investigate the impact of the hack. A spokesperson for the Chinese embassy told BBC News the accusation is a smear attack and without any factual basis.
