# Today we begin with soccer: Bafana Bafana defeated South Sudan three-nil in their final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Cape Town Stadium. Goals from Iqraam Rayners, Patrick Maswanganyi and Teboho Mokoena, saw South Africa top Group K ahead of fellow qualifiers Uganda. Bafana, who have now extended their unbeaten run to 16 games under coach Hugo Broos, will be one of the seeded teams going into the Afcon competition in Morocco next year.
# Rugby: Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus says they are determined to finish the year on a positive note when they face Wales in Cardiff on Saturday. He has made seven changes to the team that beat England, with Jaden and Jordan Hendrikse, the 36th set of Springbok brothers, paired at halfback. Cameron Hanekom is set to become the 12th Bok to make his Test debut this season. Erasmus says the squad is a good mix of experience and youth, which is crucial as they look to maintain some consistency in selection.

Hamish Stewart, Darby Lancaster, Tom Hooper and Harry Hoopert are currently touring with the A side in the United Kingdom. They were drafted in because of injuries, while other players may be unavailable for the Ireland match on the 30th since it falls outside the Test window. Eighthman Harry Wilson should return after missing the clash against Wales due to concussion.
