# Two men have been taken in for questioning after the murder of alleged underworld figure Mark Lifman, who was shot in the parking lot of the Garden Route Mall in George yesterday. According to News24, the Farm Watch security group reported that their cameras helped track the gunmen’s suspected getaway vehicle, leading to the arrests. Lifman was due to appear in the High Court in Cape Town again today where he and others are on trial for the murder of alleged steroid king Brian Wainstein.
# An investigation into Pretoria High School for Girls has uncovered administrative misconduct and misuse of school resources. The Gauteng Education Department, aided by Mdladlamba Attorneys, conducted the probe following complaints about racial discrimination, unfair hiring practices, and the handling of complaints by the principal, Phillipa Erasmus. The law firm’s Mthuthuzeli Mdladlamba told the media an estate facilities manager mismanaged responsibilities and utilised school resources for personal gain:
