# Police have arrested two more suspects allegedly connected to a Limpopo police sergeant apprehended this morning in insurance-related killings. According to Newzroom Afrika, the 43-year-old woman allegedly recruited them to kill their ex-lovers. She is accused of benefiting from fraudulent funeral and life policies for destitute individuals to the value of 10-million-rand since 2019. A lengthy investigation by captain Keshi Mabunda led to her arrest. The trio are expected to appear at the Polokwane District Court tomorrow. The woman faces six murder charges and 17 fraud charges.
# The Gauteng Department of Health reports that over 70 matric learners from various West Rand schools are receiving treatment at Carletonville District Hospital due to suspected food poisoning. The incident occurred this morning during a matric camp at Fochville Secondary School. The department’s Motalatale Modiba says while one learner was taken to a private facility, the others are in stable condition:
