Reuters reports the quake’s epicenter was in Tewksbury in central New Jersey, about 64-kilometers west of New York City. It occurred just after four-thirty in the afternoon, South African time, at a depth of 4.7-kilometers. Planes got briefly grounded but no one was hurt, and New York’s iconic skyline remained intact.
