# The Walter Sisulu University has launched the WSU NO! to Student Hunger Campaign, to tackle food insecurity among students. Many of the financially disadvantaged students, who are not covered by the National Student Financial Aid Scheme, face significant hardships that affect their well-being and academic success. The campaign aims to raise an additional 2.2-million-rand, supplementing the current 800-thousand already available. WSU says the money will be used to provide food parcels to over three-thousand students in urgent need.
