WSU bridging the artificial intelligence skills gap

# The Walter Sisulu University’s Faculty of Natural Sciences has partnered with NTG Solutions. This is to provide a scarce-skills training programme for about 150 unemployed young people from the communities of Mthatha and the surrounding areas in the Eastern Cape. The university says the primary objective is to provide artificial intelligence skills for the management of data related to the environment, business, decision making and strategic planning. Sixty-percent of the beneficiaries of the programme are women. Beneficiaries will receive a three-thousand-rand monthly stipend.
