# Despite admitting that some processes were rushed in the selection of NGOs, Hannah Jacobus says she should not be held liable for the death of mentally ill patients. The former deputy director-general for Mental Health Services in Gauteng, took to the stand once again at the Esidimeni Inquest, where the unlawful issuing of licenses to NGOs during the termination of the Life Esidimeni contracts came under the spotlight.
