Western Cape to hold official funeral for struggle hero Madoda Myoli

# The Western Cape Government will hold a Special Provincial Official Funeral for struggle stalwart Madoda Myoli tomorrow. Myoli was a revolutionary thinker and freedom fighter who joined the banned Pan Africanist Congress in 1979. He served as Deputy Chief of Security and Intelligence in Azapo and passed away in Zimbabwe in 1989. His remains were handed over to his family at a private ceremony yesterday as part of a national initiative to return the remains of South African liberation stalwarts to their families and communities. The event forms part of the Repatriation and Reburial Project for Liberation Stalwarts.
