# The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness is marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month under the theme ‘No One Should Face Breast Cancer Alone’. The department says early detection and collaboration between clinics, hospitals, and community partners are saving lives. Around one-thousand-500 new breast cancer cases are diagnosed in the province every year.
