# The Western Cape High Court has struck off its roll the Economic Freedom Fighters’ urgent application seeking an interim interdict to suspend the implementation of sanctions against its members of Parliament. Parliament’s spokesperson, Moloto Mothapo, says the sanctions emanate from the disruption caused by 16 EFF members during minister of Public Enterprises, Pravin Gordhan’s, budget vote speech in July 2019. Mothapo says the court found the EFF failed to place all relevant facts before the court:
