# The Department of Water and Sanitation will conduct sector-specific consultation on raw water use charges for the 2025/2026 financial year in Pretoria East today. The consultation aims to allow the different sectors to make their presentations on the proposed raw water use charges. They are also aimed at ensuring transparency in the determination of raw water charges for public buy-in and support. Business Unity South Africa, AgriSA and the South African Local Government Association are some of the organisations that will be making presentations.
