University of KZN provides disaster relief for Tongaat community

# University of KwaZulu-Natal staff and students have rallied to provide disaster relief for the Tongaat community, that was affected by the tornado that struck the area in June. Donations included non-perishable food items, bottled water, clothing, bedding and hygiene products. The university’s Corporate Relations Division’s Normah Zondo says the generosity and philanthropic endeavours will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the Tongaat community.
