# Two suspected poachers have been arrested near the Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga. The South African National Parks says the suspects were found with eight unlicensed firearms, ammunition, and suppressors during an intelligence-driven operation at Spelenyane on Monday. The weapons are believed to have been used in bushmeat and rhino poaching. SANParks spokesperson Ike Phaahla says over the past two months, 12 illegal firearms have been confiscated, and five suspects arrested:
