# Two problematic Cape Town properties have been listed among 24 state-owned buildings released for public proposals by the national Department of Public Works and Infrastructure. These include the dilapidated 104 Darling Complex in the CBD which is occupied illegally, and Waterloo Green in Wynberg, home to three heritage-status buildings suffering neglect and vandalism. According to News24, the department has invited proposals for revitalising these properties to benefit the public, create jobs, and add community value. Submissions are due by March 13, 2025.
