Tshwane will benefit from Working for Water programme to clear invasive plants [SOUND]

# Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, Barbara Creecy, says the City of Tshwane will benefit from the department’s five-year Working for Water programme, to eradicate invasive alien plants from communities. The minister recently launched this programme to the value of 152-million-rand to implement projects across the five Gauteng municipalities. Creecy says the programme will clear 74-thousand-781 hectares over a five-year period from 2023/2024, creating 13-thousand-615 job opportunities:
