# Tshwane’s deputy mayor Nasiphi Moya says the metro remains aware of the need to continue addressing gender disparities in the opportunities of employment offered by the city. Tshwane continues to provide remedies to deal with challenges related to gender-based violence and teenage pregnancy. Moya says the city is proud to have thousands of women who have formed part of its Expanded Public Works Programme, with the opportunity to gain skills and use them for future pathways:
