Tshwane offers amnesty period for illegal infrastructure connection [SOUND]

# The City of Tshwane says it recognises that illegal connections are not always done out of malice, but often due to the rising cost of living. Since October last year, the metro has effected over 66-thousand- 448-disconnections. The metro’s spokesperson, Zonke Mahlangu, says customers who have tampered with their meters are invited to come forward by the end of this month and will be exempted from paying a tamper fee:
