# Although active Covid-19 cases in Namibia have shown a definite decline over the last six weeks, the number of people now vaccinated is about half of that for the period between July and September. Namibian Minister of Health and Social Services, Kalumbi Shangula, says although less Covid cases are being reported, Namibians should not stop getting vaccinated. In the third quarter between three-thousand-500 and four-thousand vaccinations were administered, but numbers are now down to less than two-thousand per day. As of last week, around 23-percent of the population have had their first vaccination, with 18,6-percent being fully vaccinated.
