# Tennis:  Alexander Zverev yesterday downed Novak Djokovic in a thrilling semi-final, to end the world number one’s bid for a record-equalling sixth ATP Finals title and set up a final against the Russian Daniil Medvedev. The German edged to a 7-6, 4-6, 6-3 success in Turin in Italy, and later today will face reigning champion Medvedev, who beat the Norwegian Casper Ruud in the other semi, for the trophy. Zverev also beat the 34-year-old Djokovic in the Olympics semi-finals in Tokyo.
