# The Swaziland Solidarity Network has condemned the actions of the Swazi royalist police force who forcibly stopped a national meeting of the People’s United Democratic Movement in Manzini yesterday. Spokesperson Mfanafuthi Tsela says this violation of basic rights to assembly and political expression is yet another chapter in Mswati’s systematic campaign to silence democratic voices in Swaziland. He says the meeting was also aimed at outlining the organisation’s key political and organisational priorities for the year:
