# The state of the nation address will still take place despite the Parliament fire incident. Chairperson of the National Council of Provinces Amos Masondo has assured the public the work of government will not be disrupted as investigations continue. Briefing the media, Masondo said they hope to ensure that programmes will run as per normal:
