# Soccer: Premier League club Southampton has confirmed they have been taken over by Serbian born TV mogul, Dragon Solak, in a deal that sees a London-based investment firm called Sport Republic take a controlling stake in the club. According to the news agency Xinhua, the move ends the ownership of Chinese businessman, Gao Jisheng, who purchased an 80 percent stake in the club four years ago. The club currently sits in 14th place on the Premier League log.
