# Soccer: Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has been named South Korea’s male footballer of the year for a record sixth time. The 29-year-old has scored 22 times for Tottenham in all competitions during the 2020/21 season, while also netting four times in World Cup qualifying for South Korea this year. Son has earned the Male Player of the Year honour for the third straight time and sixth year overall. He previously won this award in 2013, 2014, 2017, 2019, and 2020. Meanwhile, Chelsea’s Ji So-yun was named the Female Player of the Year for the sixth time.
