# Security has been beefed up at the High Court construction site in Durban after it was stormed by armed men. The group, claiming to be representatives from a local development forum, demanded to be given jobs. The armed men stopped workers and chased away contractors in an attempt to gain control of the site. Department of Public Works and Infrastructure spokesperson, Thamsanqa Mchunu, has condemned the behaviour saying it will not be tolerated. Mchunu confirmed that six of the suspects have been arrested and construction will resume on Monday.
