# South African Social Security Agency offices across the Western Cape have reopened following a security guards’ strike originating from a labour dispute. The most affected offices were in Athlone, Vredenburg, Khayelitsha, Cape Town, Eerste River, Mitchells Plain, Robertson and Beaufort West. Sassa security is outsourced to a service provider and managed via a service agreement. Sassa spokesperson Annelize Bester says they will continue to ensure that services are rendered in a safe and secure environment.
