SADAG says lack of confidence in government is partly to blame for high SA stress levels

# The South African Depression and Anxiety Group has responded to Ipsos’ revelation that 70-percent of South Africans grapple with stress, citing factors such as lack of confidence in government. SADAG’s Roshni Parbhoo Seetha notes that 71-percent reported stress hindering coping abilities, with 50-percent feeling too stressed for work. She said SADAG’s call centre fields over 2500 daily calls from overwhelmed individuals seeking support. Parbhoo Seetha emphasised the importance of seeking professional help.
