Rehabilitation of the N1 sinkhole in Centurion to result in lane closures at the weekend

# Motorists have been warned of lane closures on the N1 freeway near the Flying Saucer Interchange in Centurion, Gauteng, this weekend. This comes as the South African National Roads Agency will commence with the rehabilitation of the N1 sinkhole. The sinkhole formed in January 2022. Sanral says from 9am on Friday until 9pm on Saturday traffic past the construction site will be reduced to between two and three lanes for various periods. Several alternative routes motorists can take include M10 Rigel offramp and the Nellmapius offramp.
