# Public transport operators have been urged to stop allowing vehicles that do not meet the legal requirements to operate on the roads. The Transport and Community Safety Department in Limpopo made the appeal after traffic officials impounded seven taxis this festive season for operating without permits. The department’s spokesperson Mike Maringa applauded the officials for acting decisively in ensuring that roads are safer. He further urged motorists to be cautious on the roads:
