Primedia agrees to pay R4 million to settle price fixing case [SOUND]

# The Competition Commission says Primedia agreed to pay 2.7-millon-rand administrative penalty and also agreed to provide 1.3-million-rand free advertising space to small, medium and micro enterprises  owned by historically disadvantaged persons over a period of 12 months. The commission spokesperson, Siyabulela Makunga says the Tribunal order follows an investigation by the commission, which found media firms under the auspices of Out of Home Media South Africa, between September 2004 and March 2018 entered into collusive agreements which fixed prices and trading conditions:
