# The countdown to the formation of coalition goverments continues as political parties try to beat the clock. According to municipality legislation, parties have 14 days from the confirmation of the election results to form coalitions. Five metros as well as several other municipalities have no outright winner. Speaking in an exclusive interview with eNCA, election specialist Terry Tselane from the Institute of Election Management Services in South Africa explains the process:
