# Various political parties have reiterated calls for the reduction of the cabinet as 240-million-rand is budgeted for the salary packages for government of national unity ministers and their deputies. The African Christian Democratic Party says taxpayers money should be used for essential services including health, education and policing. Meanwhile, Zama Ntshona of the African Transformation Movement reiterated that this is unacceptable and called for a smaller cabinet:
