Nuclear Industry Association of SA calling on government to unlock investment in nuclear infrastructure

# The Nuclear Industry Association of South Africa is calling on the government to unlock investment in nuclear infrastructure, skills development, and research and innovation. This is as global demand for low-carbon energy and critical minerals accelerates. South Africa plans to add five-thousand megawatts of new nuclear capacity, a project which will be implemented in partnership with the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation. The association says the project will position the country as a regional hub for nuclear infrastructure development across the African continent.
