NSRI warns of heat wave in the Western and Northern Cape [SOUND]

# The National Sea Rescue Institute warns of an impending heat wave in the Western and Northern Cape. The South African Weather Service forecasts temperatures of between 30 and 40 degrees Celsius until tomorrow evening. The institute’s Craig Lambinon advises caution for coastal activities, urging bathers, boaters and water enthusiasts to prioritise safety. With the new moon spring tide adding to the conditions, Lambinon calls for awareness of strong rip currents and encourages responsible adult supervision for children near water:
