Netanyahu approves new ceasefire talks

# Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has approved new talks on a Gaza ceasefire, a day after the world’s top court ordered Israel to ensure urgent humanitarian aid reaches the Palestinian territory. The latest ruling by the International Court of Justice comes after South Africa asked it to bolster an order issued to Israel in January to take all measures to prevent genocidal acts in Gaza. Netanyahu’s office said new talks on a ceasefire and hostage release will take place in Doha and Cairo in the coming days.
