# The Mpumalanga Department of Education says they are concerned about so-called “pens down parties,” which may be planned to take place in some parts of the province after the matric exams. A spokesperson, Jasper Zwane, says despite the ongoing warnings about the consequences they have heard plans are afoot to hold such parties. He urged learners to be cautious and act wisely by staying away from such parties:
