# Motorsport: Australia’s Oscar Piastri has been named as Alpine F1 reserve driver for next year. The 20-year-old replaces Daniil Kvyat in the role. Piastri currently leads the F2 championship with just two rounds remaining, a result that comes on the back of his F3 title as a rookie last year. He says he is excited for this next chapter in his career:
