# Motorsport: Nasser Al-Attiyah and co-driver Mathieu Baumel recorded their second stage victory of the 2022 Dakar Rally, when they triumphed in Stage Four, between Al Qaisumah and Riyadh. They managed to extend their overall lead in the rally to 38 minutes and five seconds. For South Africans Shameer Variawa and Danie Stassen, Stage Four started very well. Variawa says a repair broke their rhythm and their window wipers did not work. They are now in 23rd position in the overall standings:
