# Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment Barbara Creecy expressed South Africa´s congratulations to the United Kingdom for the successful hosting of the COP26 summit. She says an additional four-billion-rand has been pledged by developed countries for the Least Developed Country Fund. Creecy says for South Africa the main priorities are setting up carbon markets and an enhanced transparency framework.  She says it was important to stress this is also a challenge for the next generation.
