# ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula says South Africa is a constitutional democracy, and anyone can establish a political party and contest an election. Mabalula says the movement can therefore not complain about all the small parties that have been formed to challenge the ANC. Speaking on the MyANC channel, he said it is for the ANC to change its fortunes and not to look at others:
