# Transport minister Fikile Mbalula has expressed his sadness after the passing of the executive mayor of Emalahleni, Linah Malatjie. Malatjie and her husband passed away in hospital after admission following a head on collision last night on the R-544 road between Gemsbokspruit and Verena, Mpumalanga. The crash resulted in 3 fatalities with the driver of the second vehicle passing away on the scene. Spokesperson Lawrence Venkile says the minister sends his condolences.
