# A 57-year-old man was arrested in the Vaal Triangle, for operating an illegal initiation school after a boy found at the school had to be taken to hospital for treatment on Tuesday. The school was operating near Steelpark in Vereeniging. Chairperson of the Sedibeng District Initiation and Traditional Committee, Spinnare Mofokeng says no initiation school is supposed to be operating since the beginning of the Covid-19 lockdown. Vaal police are currently searching for 12 boys who were allegedly kidnapped and forcefully taken to illegal initiation schools in the area.
