# South African liquor traders have called on government to respond with caution to the fourth wave of the coronavirus. The sector is confronted with the possibility of another disruption in business activities. The National Liquor Traders’ Council says the coming wave may be handled better than the previous three, without the sacrificing of livelihoods. The sector is in fear that another ban on alcohol sales is looming. The association’s Lucky Ntimane believes the economy cannot afford more restrictions on alcohol sales.
