KZN schools shine at the Sustainable Schools National Awards

# KwaZulu-Natal schools were recognised for their environmental efforts at the Sustainable Schools National Awards. Danville Park Girls’ High won most Sustainable School for leadership across multiple areas. KwaNgubeni Primary received the Community Engagement Award for impactful initiatives, while Alice Surmon from Amanzimtoti Primary was named Environmental Education Champion. Other schools were honoured for biodiversity conservation, climate action, marine protection, and water-saving efforts. The awards are organised by Nature Connect and they seek to celebrate schools for their role in shaping a greener future.
