# South Africa is set to experience its largest wheat crop harvest since 2002. Kaap Agri reports it has collected its largest wheat harvest in 16 years. Speaking during a business update at its annual general meeting, CEO Sean Walsh says despite some inland crops being damaged due to heavy rains, the group’s performance would not be impacted. Agricultural economist Wandile Sihlobo says according to the Crop Estimates Committee’s 2021/22 production forecast, wheat production is expected to be up three-percent.
