# The IFP president Velenkosini Hlabisa is urging South Africans to register to vote, so they will have their voices heard in next year’s elections. According to the Independent Electoral Commission, nearly 23-thousand-296 voting stations in all municipalities across the country will be open for voter registration this Saturday and Sunday. Hlabisa says it is staggering that over 13 million South Africans, individuals who hold the power to influence the future of our country, have not taken the simple yet transformative step of registering to vote:
